Distance learning with caring support
Online Courses
Clonlara’s online courses provide a convenient option for students in grades 6–12 who are looking to complement their learning with “ready-to-go” material on a wide range of subjects from introductory to advanced level.
Students have the freedom to complete online coursework at their own pace with the support of a teacher to answer questions and grade assignments. Courses must be purchased separately from campus or off-campus enrollment.
What makes Clonlara’s online courses unique?

Extensive Course Catalog
Students have access to a wide range of subjects and can explore topics independently, pursuing their own passions and interests.

Teacher and Advisor Support
Courses are delivered through Genius, an independent online-learning platform with its own certified teachers to answer questions and grade assignments. Clonlara advisors also help families set their educational goals, support and monitor progress, and assist students in the development of their educational plan.

Access Anytime, Anywhere
24/7 access to comprehensive online courses that include readings, resources, and more. Students have the freedom to learn and complete coursework at their own pace.

Flexibility for Busy Schedules
Our online courses are completely flexible and can fit into the busy schedules of students who wish to travel or pursue other interests in music, art, dance, athletics, and more, while continuing on their educational path.
How It Works
Clonlara students in grades 6–12, enrolled in the Off-Campus or Campus Program, may choose and pay for up to three credits of online courses at the start of the school year, or add them as the year progresses. Advisors work with families to decide which courses fit a student’s plan. Every course includes a certified Genius teacher to answer questions and grade assignments.
Courses and Credits
Online courses are purchased by the semester. Each semester’s course is worth half (0.5) credit, and students may take up to three (3.0) credits, or six semester courses, per school year.
Middle School
GRADES 6–8
Middle school students engage in an interactive, feedback-rich environment as they progress through online course content in the following subject areas: language arts, math, science, social studies, and a range of electives.
High School
GRADES 9–12
In addition to engaging coursework in the core subject areas of language arts, math, science, and social studies, our high school online courses include an extensive selection of technical and career-focused options, allowing students to explore the fields of business, engineering, health, information technology, and more.
