Clonlara School Earns Reaccreditation Through 2031

For nearly six decades, Clonlara has supported students in pursuing learning that reflects their interests, goals, and unique paths. This year, we are proud to share an important milestone in that ongoing work.

At Clonlara, we describe learning as a journey of growth and reflection. We believe all schools should embrace this mindset.

That is why we are pleased to share that Clonlara School has been reaccredited through July 2031 by the Middle States Association Commissions on Elementary and Secondary Schools (MSA-CESS), Accreditation International (Ai), and the National Council for Private School Accreditation (NCPSA).

For our families, this news offers reassurance that the educational experience we provide continues to meet high standards of quality, accountability, and school effectiveness. For Clonlara, it represents both an achievement and a responsibility: an opportunity to reflect on how far we have come, demonstrate the strength of our programs, and continue improving how we serve students in the years ahead.

What Is Accreditation?

Accreditation is a voluntary but rigorous quality assurance process through which independent educational organizations evaluate a school’s programs, practices, and operations against established standards of excellence.

While accreditation is voluntary, it is far more than a symbolic recognition. It requires a school to engage in deep self-study, gather evidence, review policies and practices, document student support systems, define and present a 5-year improvement plan, and demonstrate that its educational program is aligned with its mission. Independent evaluators then review the school’s practices and evidenceto determine whether they meet the standards of a high-quality educational institution.

For families, accreditation offers assurancethat a school has been reviewed by respected external organizations and recognized as meeting established standards. It is a meaningful indicator of credibility, quality, and accountability.

Why Does This Matter?

For current and future Clonlara families, accreditation offers several important benefits.

  • Recognition of Academic Quality

This recognition matters because families are entrusting Clonlara with something deeply important: their children’s education.

Accreditation confirms that Clonlara meets rigorous standards for educational excellence. Our recent review found that the school continues to meet all required standards and demonstrates the capacity to adapt and grow in a rapidly changing educational landscape.

  • International Credibility and Future Opportunities

As an accredited American private school, Clonlara’s diploma carries significance for families planning for college, careers and other future opportunities. Accreditation helps ensure that students can confidently pursue a wide range of future pathways.

  • Commitment to Continuous Improvement

Accreditation is not a one-time achievement, but an ongoing process that encourages schools to regularly evaluate their strengths, identify areas for growth, and improve their practices over time.

At Clonlara, this aligns closely with our educational philosophy. Just as we encourage students to reflect on their learning, set goals, and pursue continuous growth through meaningful experiences, we hold ourselves to the same standard as an organization. The accreditation process helps us identify strengths and continue improving the educational experience we provide for families.

A Shared Accomplishment

While accreditation is awarded to a school, it reflects the efforts of our global learning community.

Every day, Clonlara students pursue meaningful learning experiences shaped by their interests and goals. Families support learning in countless ways. Academic advisors and teachers guide students in transforming curiosity into purposeful learning. Staff members work behind the scenes to maintain the programs, records, services, and systems that make it all possible.

This reaccreditation belongs to all of them. It is a reflection of the care, commitment, and collaboration that defines Clonlara School.

Looking Ahead

One of things we value most about accreditation is that it encourages reflection without suggesting that growth is ever finished. Reaccreditation through 2031 affirms the strength of Clonlara’s work today while also challenging us to continue learning, adapting, and improving. We remain committed to learning and evolving alongside the students and families we serve.

As the educational landscape continues to change, Clonlara will keep doing what it has done for nearly six decades: supporting learners as they discover their interests, develop their strengths, and find joy in the learning process.

We are grateful to everyone who contributed to this accreditation process and to every family that places its trust in Clonlara School!
