2024 Global Art Show

Oh, what a show! With over 500 works of art contributed by nearly 280 students and staff from 37 different countries, Clonlara School’s 2024 art show was truly a global celebration.

Meet Ronja: This Year’s Featured Artist

Ronja, age 17, is an off-campus student living in Costa Rica. She creates shockingly realistic artwork inspired by animals and nature. You’ll see her incredible work on our 2024 Global Art Show event banners, flyers, and communications.

Ronja went from drawing mythical creatures as a beginning artist to creating realistic portraits of dogs, foxes, rabbits, sloths, and more! Through experimenting with graphite pencils, colored pencils, paint, and other mediums, she has developed her own techniques and methods. In 2023, Ronja gave a speech about her art, taught online art classes, and appeared in two magazines! Now, she’s working on making high-quality prints of her art and opening her online art store.

Ronja, Featured Artist, Global Art Show 2024

If you would like to explore your artistic talents, Ronja has some advice for you: “Don’t overthink it. Just go for it, have fun creating, and don’t expect your first piece to be perfect.” And remember: “Practice makes progress!”
