Distance learning with caring support

Online Courses

Clonlara’s online courses provide a convenient option for students in grades 6–12 who are looking to complement their learning with “ready-to-go” material on a wide range of subjects from introductory to advanced level. Students have the freedom to complete online coursework at their own pace with the support of a teacher to answer questions and grade assignments. Courses must be purchased separately from campus or off-campus enrollment.

What makes Clonlara’s online courses unique?

Students have access to a world of knowledge. Our “ready-to-go” online courses allow students to explore topics autonomously and pursue their personal passions and interests.

Teacher and Advisor Support

Our online courses include a teacher to answer questions and grade assignments. Clonlara advisors help families set their educational goals, support and monitor progress, and assist students in the development of their educational plan.

Access Anytime, Anywhere

24/7 access to comprehensive online courses that include readings, resources, and more. Students have the freedom to learn and complete coursework at their own pace.

Flexibility for Busy Schedules

Our online courses are completely flexible and can fit into the busy schedules of students who wish to travel or pursue other interests in music, art, dance, athletics, and more, while continuing on their educational path.

How It Works

Clonlara students in grades 6–12 who enroll in the off-campus or campus programs at the beginning of the school year may choose and pay for up to three credits of online courses to add to their educational plan. Online courses can also be added as the year progresses. When families request online courses, our advisors work with them to decide which courses are right courses for their students. All Clonlara online courses include a teacher to answer questions and grade assignments.

Courses and Credits

Online courses are either half (0.5) credit, meant to be completed in one semester, or full (1.0) credit, meant to take one academic year to finish. Students may choose a mix of full and half-credit courses, totaling up to three (3.0) credits per school year.

Each online course includes a variety of activities such as direct instruction, application of skills, performance tasks, and formative and summative assessments.
