In 1967, Clonlara School founded its first campus in Ann Arbor, Michigan, based on the experience, vision and mission of Founder Pat Montgomery, Ph.D.
Building on Clonlara’s highly personalized approach, our redesigned Campus Program offers flexible in-person learning options for kids (grades K–8) with opportunities to build friendships, make new discoveries about what they are interested in learning, and receive academic support.
Through the Clonlara Portugal Association, the Clonlara team is working to open a Campus Program in Portugal, its first campus outside the United States of America – Clonlara School – Idanha.
With the signing of the contract with the City Council of Idanha-a-Nova, for the transfer of a building for the project, on January 13, 2022, Clonlara School begins a new chapter in its history – the realization of the first international school in the municipality of Idanha-a-Nova, in the Beira Baixa region.
The project is, at the moment, at the licensing stage with the Ministry of Education in Portugal, and the opening date depends of it´s legal approvals.
Through its affiliation program, Clonlara extends its services to other educational projects aligned with our mission, vision, and pedagogical principles.
