Tuition & Fees 2010-2011

The 2010-11 Clonlara School year begins September 7, 2010 and ends June 10, 2011.

 

REGISTRATION FEE 

$200 for first the student; $50 each additional student.

Registration fees apply to the first year of enrollment only, as long as continuous enrollment is maintained in Clonlara School. Registration fees are non-refundable.
   

TUITION for 2010-11

Grades K-8 - $735 per student
Grades 9-12 - $925 per student

New Senior - $1,860 per student
This tuition applies to students enrolling as a senior who were not enrolled with Clonlara during the 2009-10 school year.  Click here to view policy for seniors.

Mailing Addresses outside the U.S., its territories, or an APO or FPO - $100 additional overseas fee


TUITION INCLUDES: 

• Clonlara Advisor who provides you with educational recommendations for your student's individual needs; assistance in developing a curriculum plan; review of educational planning forms for each course (only at high school level); suggested learning resources; advice on ways to accommodate your students’ learning styles and special needs; and helping you to monitor documentation of all learning, including courses and credits required for high school graduation.

• Elementary and/or Secondary Education Guide to Clonlara’s program.

• Access to the Clonlara Commons for each student and one parent; the Commons is a web portal that enables you to complete forms online, to view transcripts, etc.

• Private School Transcripts and High School Diploma upon completion of necessary graduation requirements.

• Clonlara communications with other school officials (e.g., to verify enrollment or academic progress).

 


TUITION DOES NOT INCLUDE:

• Textbooks and supplies or their shipping and handling costs.

• Graduation fees.

• Course fees for CompuHigh, E2020 or Rosetta Stone language courses.

• Fees for Additional Programs/Services and AdministrativeServices (see below).

ADDITIONAL PROGRAMS & SERVICES

Temporary Enrollment Program

$685 per student, per academic year.

This program is for students who are concurrently enrolled in another school (public or private) and who wish to earn credits from Clonlara School that they then can apply to the other school in which they are concurrently enrolled. Tuition and registration fees are non-refundable.  For more information, contact Admissions.

Home School Portfolio Review

$1,300/student, per academic year.

This service is available to enrolled high school students only. It covers Clonlara’s review of, and the issuance of appropriate credit for, studies that were completed while the student was not enrolled in another accredited or incorporated school. Contact Admissions for more information.


ADMINISTRATIVE FEES

Rush Fee - $50 for short notice and urgent services.

Late Fee - $25 for missed deadlines on services which specify a deadline.

Graduation Fee - $100 for each graduating senior.

Extended Graduation Fee - $465 applies to eligible seniors who have completed the necessary credits, but did not finish and/or submit other graduation requirements on time.

Credit Request Processing for Previously Enrolled Students - $250 fee per year; to process credit requests from high school students who are no longer enrolled with Clonlara but wish to receive credit for work they did when they were previously enrolled (e.g., their credit request forms were not submitted on time while they were enrolled).

Apostilla Document Preparation Charge - $100 for State of Michigan validation of Clonlara's documents (usually desired by foreign students).

International special service requests - $50/hour for documentation, translation or verification that is outside the routine services of our U.S. program.

Special Documentation - $50/hour for drafting IEPs and other special documents.

Express Delivery Fees - Charges are determined by which service is used; Clonlara reserves the right to choose the service.   We do most of our business with USPS, UPS and FedEx.  Whenever express delivery service is used, it is necessary for Clonlara to charge the Rush Fee in addition to the delivery fees.

Clonlara School is a non-profit, tax-exempt educational institution. Our services are made possible by both tuition and private donations. We gratefully accept donations of any amount.  All donations are fully tax-deductible under federal 501(c)(3) IRS regulations.
