Home Based Education Program Tuition

Enroll Now Clonlara School's tuition covers enrollment for one school year.   Clonlara's School Year for the Home Based Education Program officially begins each year on the Tuesday after Labor Day and ends on our scheduled graduation date for seniors.

The 2008-09 School Year begins September 2, 2008 and ends June 13, 2009.

Of course, our core philosophy recognizes that learning can occur, even between June and September!   Credit for, or recognition of, this is given to currently enrolled students after the beginning of the following school year (September).

TUITION INCLUDES:

  • A Clonlara advisor assigned to your family for educational consultation
  • Access to the Clonlara Commons for each student and one parent
  • A suggested curriculum for each student
  • Math Skills Guidebook (K-8)
  • Communication Skills Guidebook (K-8)
  • The Learning Edge Newsletter
  • Standard postage/telephone costs which originate from the Clonlara Office
  • Access to Clonlara School Compuhigh enrollment at discounted rates
  • Communication with school officials (if necessary)
  • Student ID card
  • Teacher ID card for parent, if requested
  • Private School Transcripts and a Diploma upon completion
  • Standardized Achievement Tests availability

    TUITION DOES NOT INCLUDE:

  • Textbooks and supplies, or their shipping and handling costs
  • Postage/telephone costs which originate with the family
  • Standard Achievement Test costs

    REGISTRATION

  • $150.00   One-Time, Non-Refundable, Registration Fee for registrations received before July 1, 2008 (applies only to first year of enrollment).
  • $200.00   One-Time, Non-Refundable, Registration Fee for registrations received after July 1, 2008 (applies only to first year of enrollment).

    FAMILY BASE TUITION:

  • $500.00 Family Base Tuition charge
  • $100.00 Additional charge for families whose mailing address is not in the U.S., its territories, or an APO or FPO address

    TUITION PER STUDENT:

    To the Family Base Tuition add:

  • $200.00   For each student enrolling in our early, middle or upper elementary program.
  • $385.00   For each student enrolling in our secondary program as a freshman, sophomore, junior.   This rate also applies to seniors who were enrolled students during the 2007-2008 school year.
  • $1,270.00   For each student enrolling as a senior who was not enrolled with Clonlara during the 2007-2008 school year.  Click here to view policy for seniors.

    Tuition is payable in U.S. funds.   We accept Visa, MasterCard, personal checks.   Short term installment plans are available until the end of our first semester, when the registration process is completed online by credit card.   See the Registration page for our secure, online registration form.

    Tuition charges cover enrollment from the date of registration until the end of the school year.

    When registering by mail, please make check or money order payable for the full year's tuition to CLONLARA SCHOOL.   There is a $20.00 fee for returned checks.

    ADDITIONAL SERVICE FEE INFORMATION

    Temporary Program Enrollment:

  • $650.00 per student, per academic year.   This tuition is applied to additional credits earned from Clonlara School during the school year while a student is concurrently enrolled in another program, public or private.   The Registration Fee is also charged. Call for more information.

    Home School Portfolio Review:

  • $1,200.00 per student, per academic year.   This tuition is applied for Clonlara School’s review of a high school student’s portfolio for the purpose of issuing credit for studies completed while the student was not enrolled in another accredited or incorporated school.   No Registration Fee applies to this service. Call for more information.

    The following fees apply in specific instances, and are due before the service is performed:

  • $100.00 Graduation Fee for each graduating senior
  • $25.00 Rush Fee for short notice and urgent services
  • $25.00 Late Fee for missed deadlines on services which specify a deadline
  • A late graduation fee applies to eligible seniors who do not finish graduation requirements on time, contact the Clonlara office for further information
  • Charges for express delivery service are determined by which service is used; Clonlara reserves the right to choose the service.   We do most of our business with USPS, UPS and FedEx.
