The first task for every family is to set up an appointment to visit the school. The purpose of that meeting will be an overview of the program, a tour of the building, a chance to go over the required paperwork, and a review of the financial investment for enrollment.
Once the general meeting with the Director is concluded (students are welcome to join this first session), it is time to meet with the classroom teacher and find out the specifics of that particular program (Youngers, Middles, Olders). Ask any questions that you need to during that visit - the more you know about Clonlara, the more you will be able to help your student be successful here.
Following the classroom visit, it is time for the student to visit campus. Some parents choose to stay with their child for the first visit. Whatever makes you and your child comfortable is what we will do.
For the Youngers program, we recommend a visit of 2 days. For the Middles and Olders programs, we recommend 3 days. It takes time to feel the rhythm and expectations of daily life in our building. Once the visit is completed, it is time for the family to decide on Clonlara enrollment. Turn in your paperwork. WELCOME!
